Chipolbrok has called at the port of Esbjerg in Denmark to offload wind turbine towers that originated in China.

Chipolbrok Sun, measuring 190 m long and 28 m wide, had to navigate shallow waters and narrow waterways around the island of Fanø to deliver the components at the port. From there, the vessel proceeded to Hamburg, Germany to load project cargoes destined for India before heading to Antwerp, Belgium to collect a number of heavy lift components.

The cargoes loaded in Antwerp included units weighing up to 136 tonnes, destined for Karachi, Pakistan; 75-tonne components for Mumbai, India; and a 128-tonne package that will be transported to Shanghai, China.

The last port of loading for Chipolbrok Sun was Izmir in Turkey, where dismantled rig components were loaded for onward transportation to Mumbai.
