The adventurous journey of "CHIPOLBROK ATLANTIC" part 2 - Antwerp and Sankt Petersburg

2018-10-04

After discharging of its spectaculare heavy cargo at Rotterdam and a remarkable portion of steels at Wismar m/v "CHIPOLBROK ATLANTIC" proceeded to Antwerp for the second part of its somewhat adventures roundtrip. Eastbound voyage started there by loading 20.000ts of metal concentrates. Does not sound remarkable but indeed is a bit special loading such stuff on a heavy geared multi purpose liner vessel.

It underlines the ability of Chipolbrok to handle also bulky cargoes on their vessels being well fitted for such purposes. From Antwerp the vessel proceeded to St. Petersburg to load infrastructure project cargo incl. heavy units up to 378ts which enjoys a certain urgency.

Immediately after completion of loading the vessel sailed for a quick trip via Suez Canal to India and northern China. A new employment still under the command of Capt. Liu Jun from Inner Mongolia, will be given in China for another global roundtrip within the frequent liner service network of Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Co.
